About Author Lisa Barry:
Growing up in Florida was not a good enough reason for author, Lisa Barry, to avoid wearing black. A daily color choice, Lisa constantly pines for cool enough weather to wear boots.
Living with her supportive (and hot) husband and amazingly awesome kidlets, Lisa counts it a blessing that they still love her despite the deafening sound of her music muse throughout the house.
Writing and reading every minute she can, Lisa counts on her cats to keep her keyboard warm and on the countless gargoyles who stand guard throughout her house to ensure the safety of all those who enter with good intent. The gargoyles, even more importantly, listen carefully when Lisa reads to them aloud.
About Author Anne Cargile:
After decades of trying to ignore the voices in her head and appear normal, one day Anne sat down and let them take over. Habitually Anne only shared her mental adventures with her plants, but they steadily worked to convince her to share with humans too. “I like plants better than people, but I can’t help myself, I blab to anyone who will listen.” A member of the Ink Slingers Guild, she enjoys gardening (obviously), good food and a good story or ten.
About Author Nicole DragonBeck:
Nicole Beck was born in California one snowy summer long ago, the illegitimate offspring of an elf and a troll. At a young age her powers exploded and she was banished to the wilderness of South Africa because her spells kept going inexplicably awry. There she was raised by a tribe of pygmy Dragons and had tremendous adventures, including defeating a terrible Fire-Demon that had been tormenting a sect of Dwarf priests. In gratitude they taught her the arcane magic of writing and the rest is horribly misinterpreted history. She reads as much as she writes, is obsessed with dragons and Italians, enjoys cooking, listening to music and can often be heard fiddling on a keyboard or guitar. She currently lives in Clearwater, Florida, is a member of The Ink Slingers’ Guild and is working on several novels, all of which have at least one mention of a dragon. She lists friends, music and life among her greatest influences.
About Author Erika Lance:
Erika had the unique opportunity to live in several different environments across the country growing up, giving her a colorful perspective on life. Born in Minnesota, she spent most of her formative years in Hollywood, then a ranch in New Mexico on the border of an Indian reservation. With a love of the arts since she was a child (acting, painting, sewing and dancing to name a few!) she found her passion in writing. Beginning with short stories, poems and articles for local papers, “Jimmy” is her first published fiction story.
About Author Dalia Lance:
Dalia has had a very interesting upbringing starting with growing up in Hollywood, CA. Never shy, she learned that if you are not willing to try something new you may let life simply pass you by. She loves meeting people from all walks of life and these experiences inspire her on a daily basis. As a true friend once pointed out “You are never a complete waste, you can always be used as a bad example”. So what’s the worst that can happen?

About Author Désirée Matlock:
Désirée Matlock was born in California, a child of wanderers. Being nomadic herself, she somehow managed to stay in one spot deep in the woods for almost a decade, and still thinks of it as home. She takes regular trips to odd locales to quench her wanderlust and provide inspiration for stories. A passionate lover of language and history, she is frequently called upon by her friends to settle esoteric points of grammar. Presently, she lives with her grown daughters in a Florida beach town where she writes from a peaceful nook with a pastoral view.
About Author Laura Price:
Laura Price is the imaginary person behind the eyes of her favorite character. She has had multiple short stories and works of poetry published, and is always filing little pieces of life in her mind to be later threaded into a new web. She lives in her own personal paradise on the beaches of Florida, where she works, plays, writes, and raises her prodigal progeny. Providing care and council for psychiatric, geriatric and Hospice patients, Laura’s work revolves around human interaction and conflict resolution. The subtle connections between people present a sort of magic which is her greatest source for
vision and inspiration.
About Author JM Paquette:
JM Paquette hails from upstate New York, so she misses the snow, but not the shoveling, and now lives in Florida, where she hates the heat, but not the beach. She has an embarrassingly large comic book collection that is only shamed by her ever-growing horde of cheesy romance novels, and she openly admits to being both a fantasy enthusiast and a role-playing aficionado, both of which have earned her solid stamps on her Geek Card. She lives in Clearwater with her husband, her daughter, her big-boned dog, and a cat who occasionally appears at mealtimes.
About Author Dee Rea:
Dee Rea is an award winning poet and author of Journey into the Night. She’s been writing ever since she can remember, though some of her earlier works should never see the light of day. She earned her BA in Anthropology with honors and a Minor in History in 2014. She learned her love of the written word from her father. She now lives in Central Florida with her beloved family.
About Author Alanna J. Rubin:
Author, Writer, Whovian, Jane-ite, Trekkie, & Geek in general. I could go on, but I think you get the idea.
About Author Brandon Scott:
From a young age, Brandon Scott realized he was tired of stories where all the characters survived, and the good guys always won. And after flirting off and on with the writing idea for a few years, he got his first disturbed shudder out of a reader. Since then, Brandon Scott has been chasing that same shudder, penning dark speculative fiction stories of various lengths–some of which even he can’t think about for too long without his stomach tightening.
When Brandon Scott is not writing, sleeping, cooking, or just busy with life stuff (a rare thing indeed) he enjoys anime, books, movies, television, dumb online videos, and really anything you might call “nerdy” or “geeky”. He lives in Florida and somehow still manages to feel cold.
